West Marin Community Services depends on the generosity of volunteers from the community to accomplish our mission.  Spend a little of your time to support your neighbors and friends in West Marin through these volunteer opportunities:

Work a few hours at the West Marin Thrift Store!
Volunteer for 2 hours and help with duties like sorting donations, ironing, stocking and organizing the store, or working behind the counter as a cashier.   Have fun, meet new people, help your community, and be the first to see all the wonderful donations!  There are 3 volunteer shifts per day, Monday through Saturday.  Please contact Jane Vait., Thrift Store Manager, at (415) 663-9227 for more information.   

Help out in the office at the West Marin Community Resource Center!
Volunteer to help in the food pantry, pick up and deliver food, tackle administrative tasks, occasional handyman odd jobs, and coordinating community events or classes.  Contact Socorro Romo, Resource Center Manager, at (415) 663-8361 for more information.

Prepare and/or serve Thanksgiving Dinner!
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is managed and organized by the West Marin Community Resource Center every year.  Over 100 volunteers help cook, serve, and decorate the facility for this wonderful community celebration.  Contact Socorro Romo, at (415) 663-8361, to volunteer your time.

Donate blood at one of the Blood Drives!
Call the Resource Center and volunteer to donate your blood at one (or all three!) of our annual blood drives.  The drives are held in February, June, and October.  Call (415) 663-8361 to sign up, and give the gift of life.

Apply to be on the Board of Directors!
Be of service to the community you live in by applying to be on our Board of Directors.  We are actively seeking qualified community leaders to support the health and welfare of West Marin residents.  Please contact David Hastings, Executive Director, at (415) 663-8361 for more information.
