Every One. All Ways.
Food
Pantry
The food pantry operates with support from the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, Extrafood.org, the USDA emergency food program, Respecting our Elders, and community donations.
About: No one in our community should have to go hungry. And for that reason, the West Marin Community Services (WMCS) Food Pantry is the only food program in West Marin that is open Monday through Friday every week of the year. The Food Pantry began as a monthly service in the 1980s and evolved to be a five-days a week operation service. The community-wide need for food has continued to be high since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and are proud of what we’ve done to meet this need for the community of West Marin. We operate with support from the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, ExtraFood, surplus from local businesses, contributions from home gardens, and monetary donations from you!
Donations: Bring fresh food donations from your home garden or grocery store to our Food Pantry during hours of operation. We especially appreciate unopened canned protein foods, fruits, and vegetables well before the expiration date.
The Food Pantry will gladly accept your clean and dry paper grocery bags.
Donate during our business hours! We do not accept drop-offs outside of open hours.
